"Hands down the most EPIC BACKPACK OF ALL TIME!"

Brian C on 7/10/2014 11:23:09 PM

Comments: Look no further my good friends! This is the perfect light backpack on the market today. I have searched long and hard, and thrown away more money on bags than I care to admit to you now…. I spent over 15 years (no joke) searching for the perfect quintessential go too backpack. I can tell you that I have found the HOLY GRAIL of bags with The Falcon II! When you pick up The Falcon II, its like shaking hands with an old friend. You can feel the quality of manufacture that went into it, the stitching is quality throughout and though the nylon feels dense, it maintains a lightness that is comforting. No flimsiness or fear that it will give out when out in the field. It just feels reliable!. The Falcon II is comfortable even with heavy loads over long distances. I have packed tons of gear into it and it still has room for more. The compartments are well thought-out and provide ample storage options for kit that lets you organize your items just the way you want them. I find it easy to switch using the pack for daytrips, to work loads. It lets me put my mission critical items in places that are easy and quick to reach. The PALS webbing on the exterior of the pack allows me to customize and personalize the bag even further and to truly make the bag my own. I rarely leave home without it nowadays. I feel like I am missing or I forgot something when I am not carrying it. I have used this bag for 3 years now. I was in the Army as a paratrooper and am now working as a police officer. I have used gear from most of the major designers both civilian and military and I am still impressed by Maxpedition gear. I have used this ruck for everything: camping, overnight trips, school, police patrol work, bug out bag, hiking, and it has always been my first choice. It has held up to everything I have thrown at it. It is stylish! I have been stopped several times out and about by people asking me where I got my pack and how I like it. Don’t be fooled by imitations, it’s design has been often copied, but none hold a candle to the Maxpedition ruck!! You pay for what you get, and trust me, you want to get Maxpedition. I have The Falcon II in foliage green and I love that it is that perfect gray/green color. It’s not to military looking so you can blend in if you like, but not so pedestrian as to look wimpy. If it ever fails, and that’s a pretty big IF, I will happily buy another and keep on going! The only thing I would like to see changed about the bag is a bit of soft side Velcro sewn between the two PALS webbing strips on the top smaller pocket. I like to have a place to put a name tape if I want! LOL

"The Best There Is !!"

Hans-Petter Bekeng on 5/25/2014 2:14:12 PM

Comments: This is quite simply the best backpack there is. I have been looking for the Ultimate backpack for some 25 years, and now I'm not looking anymore. The Awesomeness of the Falcon II cannot be over-estamated.

"Nice well built pack."

Tricia B on 4/15/2014 3:33:42 PM

Comments: This is a nice pack. Lots of points of attachment to modify it. It would be even better if it had a waist belt with a small pad with molle for more support and for adding pouches.

"Lots of travel with this pack"

Coast to Coast on 4/6/2014 8:38:49 AM

Comments: I travel extensively and had an Ogio pack before, zippers blew out within a year. With all the TSA checkpoints, zippers opening and closing multiple times a week, rough treatment by myself, dust, dirt and weather, I could not be happier with the pack. I have owned it two years now, not a single issue to complain about.I use this bag for all my tech (laptop, camera, communication cables, pens, headphones, power cords and accessories), planner, schematics, and have carried drills, chargers, bits, etc... HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN YET.

"Best bag ever!"

Tony on 1/8/2014 12:10:45 PM

Comments: I have had this bag for a few years now and still is like new. I work in law enforcement and this has to be the best all round bag hands down. I will never own another product other then maxpedition. Best in the business!!

"The best one"

Anze on 12/11/2013 3:20:48 AM

Comments: Great backpack to store emergency equipment or to just use it in every day life. Great water resistant, durable build and can really be abused. A lot of molle compatibile options and size is spot on, not too huge and not too small.

"This pack is tough as nails"

kbbjedi on 11/26/2013 11:08:30 PM

Comments: Been through many packs over the years, USGI, North Face, Kelty, Jansport. All great packs but my Falcon 2, Sitka, and Vulture 2 have far surpassed those for wearability, function, and construction. I would recommend Maxpedition to anyone who prefers premium quality and truly hard use gear. @kbbjedi

"Does everything and does it well!"

Doug on 10/28/2013 1:06:29 PM

Comments: The things I have used this bag for so far... EDC, CCW, Go bag for the hospital (for when baby was of the way), Baby bag (for after baby got here), 3 day trip bag, Hunting pack It's sat in my office, the bed of my truck, my trunk, been dragged around the woods and city alike. I've hosed soda, blood, dirt, spit up and poo off of it and if I showed it to you now you'd think it was new. Best bag I've ever owned!

"good tough pack"

Stanley Dague on 8/21/2013 12:53:08 PM

Comments: I use this every day for my gym clothes and shaving gear. My towelfits neatly around the outer part of the bag. I have had many positive comments about it.

"For me, this bag is as good as it gets.."

Andrew Smith on 7/30/2013 12:50:52 PM

Comments: Just bought my 2nd one (also got a Vulture and a Lunada, a few pouches etc. But the Falcon-II is my favourite all rounder. I had started using it for work as a laptop and general EDC bag both local and on trips. I couldn't swap it back to rec use but was missing it so much on the hikes. So a brand new Black Falcon-II for work and got my trusty Khaki one with all the pockets back for proper duty.

"Yeah it's a bit pricey because It's the last bag you'll buy"

Melissa on 5/16/2013 11:22:13 AM

Comments: It took me a while to pull the trigger and buy the bag because of the price, but then I remembered why I was shopping for a bag. Another school bag bit the dust. The clasp on my Rothco engineer bag broke. This was like the 2nd bag in a matter of months. Instead of looking for something that was stylish, large capacity, and on sale, I should of first looked for a durable, large in capacity bag. And I bought the bag, a dump bag for a water bottle and a couple of external pouches. The bag is perfect for my frame since I'm like 5'1. As a woman usually assault bags are wider than my back/shoulders so on a hit day I feel like I'm wearing a jacket on my back. It's not too big or too small. It holds 2 net books a text book and binder. Some of my larger textbooks don't fit if I carry both netbooks. The water bladder compartment fits my composition books and magazines. On of the external compartments that I attach to the bag is a medium pouch that hold all my tools and circuit board for my weekly lab. So now my class mates are jealous because I don't lug around my backpack, textbook, and tool box like everyone else. I can pack everything in one bag even my lunch in the dump bag attachment on the side. I can honestly say I have one minor complaint. If the bag was an inch wider it could fit a standard 3 ring binder with 1 net book. But the only way for me to fit a 1 inch 3 ring binder is the bag was damn near empty and I put it in diagnolly. But I dunno. The size is perfect for me. I might try to upgrade my size see how that'll workout, but it's the perfect assault pack. It fits my body right. Not bulky or wide. Breathable back pads, and the shoulder straps are great! It's as if they had me in mind when they designed this bag. By the way if you still can't picture your self spending the money: 2 bags broke @ $65.00 a piece plus Shipping is about the same as a Maxpediton. I went to a retailer with my school bag and tool box and that's how I picked a bag. I filled up the bag and realized if I bought attachments I could shed the box. I was sold.
