Comments: A superb bag. I have had the original falcon day pack since 2004 and still use it every day - all round Africa and the Middle East. After a quick wash to remove the dust - it looks as good as new again. Strength, quality and superb design. By this time this backpack fails, Maxpedition will be onto Falcon Version 5!

Comments: I have owned this bag for almost a year and the quality is very evident. Zippers hold up to extreme conditions (bag filled to over-capacity) without signs of failure. Exterior is very rugged and have taken constant punishment from terrain/weather/trunk. If and when I need a replacement, Falcon II will be it.

Comments: Im a conductor and needed a great bag, able to take a beating and comfortable to have on (in case of long walk on the tracks). This is it I can barely feel it on my back i have about 40 lbs of books in it plus other work suplies. My last bag lasted 5 months this should last years im very happy and more organized.

Comments: I have just returned from my second trek. The first was to Indonesia, Mt Rinjani 12,000 feet. The second on was a 18 days trek to the Pakistan K2 basecamp. Though it did not specify that it is waterproof, I had gone through light rains many time and the content hardly gets wet at all. During both the treks, the bag did go through a lot of rough terrain and handling.After both treks, the bag was covered with very find sand. I washed it both times and it still looking like as new as it can be. I don't need another bag. I am going to bring it to Nepal next week for another 15 days trek. I am sure it will hold up and will not be concerned if it get covered with sand or snow.

Comments: i dont leave my house without this pack. it is tough as nails and will take pretty much anything you can throw at it. i will never buy anything besides maxpedition from now on.

Comments: I took this pack to Afghanistan and used it on a daily basis. I've had to replace my issued daypack twice, while the only difference with this pack before deployment and after is a healthy amount of dust. If this pack ever does break, I'll be purchasing a new one as soon as possible.
