"Over 6 years of abuse"

Doj tyler on 3/30/2016 5:25:04 PM

Comments: I got my gearslinger before my first deployment. Used it on every patrol and it survived the toughest stuff I went through. Never ripped or even frayed. I've used it on climbs, cycling trips, ultra marathons and especially carrying extra diapers and snacks. It's not the prettiest anymore but it's still as solid as day one and it's got tons of stories. It's been on six continents in six years and is still my edc bag. Holds a g20 plus 3 extra mags and a sure fire light in a very accessible spot yet is not obviously going to tell people "hey I'm carrying and am prepped for anything".

"Great airplane carry on for under-seat"

Mort on 2/9/2015 5:23:06 PM

Comments: Perfect size and configuration for holding everything needed for on-flight needs: tablet, kindle, headphones, inflatable neck pillow, water bottle, reading glasses, wallet, etc. Easily fits under the seat in front of you without taking up all of your foot space. My wife sewed on an elastic strap at the top to secure it to my Maxpedition rolling carry-on. Highly recommended.

"Best for any situation"

Jeff on 1/30/2015 2:50:46 AM

Comments: I am in sales and travel every day. I was looking for a bag that was efficient and not oversized to carry my daily needs. Well, I found it in a Stika Gearslinger. This bag carries my iPad and other essential material with plenty of room left to carry my laptop. The extra pouches makes me feel as if I have my desk draw with me every where I go. The other benefit is that it is a conversation started with most of my customers. Get one!

"GREAT BAG"

Lteby on 11/28/2014 9:30:01 PM

Comments: I have had this bag for 5 years now. Carry my beretta, first aid kit, for family of 5 kids, wallet creds and other EDC. I got to say, DANG GREAT BAG. My wife is allowing me to upgrade and I'm excited, looking at Falcon II make it my EDC/Bug out bag. Great work Maxpedition.

"Great for frequent fliers"

Jack M. on 9/13/2014 4:54:12 AM

Comments: It's a great size for everything I need close at hand on an airplane. It fits under any seat and still leaves enough room for my feet. It's light and easily accessible during the flight. The compartments are perfect for the various things I carry, and the large external zippered compartment is perfect for a tablet and magazines. One of the inner pockets fits my Kindle Touch perfectly. I've attached a Cocoon Pouch so that my reading glasses are easily accessible, and also a Hook & Loop Mini-Organizer inside the main pocket. The sling feature is fantastic for many situations, and the bag is very comfortable to wear.

"Travel/Hunting"

William on 8/1/2014 6:30:19 AM

Comments: Since 2011 I have used the Sitka in FDE every single day. It has med kit, mags, medicine, shirt, shorts, an M&P, calls, flashlights, 2 knives, a sharpener, wise food, 2 bottles of water, 550 cord, and a few other items. The bag has been used hard for years now. It's been used in Argentina, the desert, as a hunting pack in texas, and a fishing pack in Florida. Normally I wouldn't continue using a pack this long but it just won't wear out. The stitching is fine, the zippers are good to go, it just works. The bag has done well repelling water, a little oil, and even blood. It's nothing to look at now but it is still going strong. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs a versatile pack for short trips and daily carry. I have owned the Kodiak, Condor, and fatboy. This is without a doubt the best combination of size, room, and comfort in my opinion. Pick a color and buy one. You will be pleased with this pack for years.

"One word. Awesome!"

Brent on 4/29/2014 12:49:30 PM

Comments: I bought a khaki/foliage Sitka about 3 years ago, and it's great! This bag has been everywhere with me, and it's comfortable in all environments, whether I'm hiking in Oregon, hanging around Boston, or Kayaking in Florida! I'm a college student, and this bag holds everything I need on a daily basis and then some, including a 13" Macbook Pro in a protective sleeve. If you're thinking about getting one, I say it's worth every penny!

"I'm Happy"

Adam B on 6/22/2013 6:38:59 AM

Comments: Bought this bag about 3 months ago. So far so good. Love the quality of the materials and upon first receiving this, you can just tell this is a bag that can take some punishment. I use it primarily as my EDC bag to work. Holds my CCW, various get home equipment and my iPad and studio sized headphones. Plenty of room. This is my first Maxpedition product, but it will definitely not be my last!

Comments: Hello Maxpedition! Just wanted to let you know that one od your Sitka bags lives in Croatia for two and a half years now. Never been washed, never ripped, never chaffed, never leaked, never soked up mud... and all in all I must admit that it looks brand new. I would like to congratulate you on thee craftmanship and the creative process involvd into thinking up a bag like that. It made my life easier and more practical. Which is more than I can say for any other product I bought for the same purpose. Cheers!

Comments: I'm on my second riding season with the Sitka and absolutely love its rugged functionality. I carry it on my motorcycle, the carry strap slung over my primary bar bag, the body of the pack resting on the license plate. Over the miles the license plate has bent back and forth so much that the corner the bag rests most heavily against has creased and broken, leaving a jagged edge. Which is where the bag now sits. Right on that jagged corner of license plate. The bag? Not a scratch. Not a tear or a rip. Nada. One of the very best gear investments I've ever made.

"Another Use"

S. Garrett on 4/10/2012 11:14:38 AM

Comments: I use my Sitka for my Airbook, iPad 2, iPhone 4, external drive, portable speakers, electronic tools & accessories...There is a surprising amount of room. It is a safe mode of transport for over $2,000 worth of electronics. I'm a technology teacher and have to keep all my tech gear with me. Thanks for a great product!
