I was gifted this backpack as a reward for helping a good friend out...She heard that I was saving up , to buy a new backpack, for my future outdoor adventures It was a toss between the 511Rush 72 or the vulture 2 ....She did her research and discovered the Maxpedition was the superior brand, for the tough rugged use that I do in the Northern forests of Canada. After 6 months of canoeing & hikin. I gladly reported to her, that everything about the bag, was true to its claim....the stitching is unchanged, the material is softened a little, but still tough, the zippers are stong as when I first got the bag, and the shoulder straps, haven't weakened....top notch all the way....With the money saved I added the maxpedition large water bottle holder, and balanced the weight with a Maxpedition FR-1 first aid kit, and on the front molly a maxpedition first aid pouch..I am loaded up..and having the time of my life, with this reliable product....Many of my clients , are now lined up to purchase maxpedition products as well, as they know how rough I am with it...and it comes through with flying colors , every trip. Cheers to you Maxpedition for a great product.
Very nice, robust backpack. Bought it for overnight hikes and fits all my gear just fine. Confident this pack won't fail on my in the outdoors. Not the lightest pack, but happy to carry the extra weight for reassurance it is sturdy.
This bag is very high quality that is extremely durable.
We had previously purchased a Vulture-II Backpack 2 years ago along with with several ancillary pouches and accessories. We have been exceptionally pleased with the durability and performance thus far, and are looking forward to adding a few more to our tack and gear.
This pack is everything that I've been looking for. Believe me I have looked at everything out there. It's military grade tough and well made.Nothing out there compares to this pack. It's the last pack that I'll ever need to buy in my life.
