I purchased two of these to add onto my grandson's hand-me-down Boy Scout backpack. He wanted the one I used as a Boy Scout (50+ years ago) but straps were simple, very-worn web straps. I added one of these onto each of the two shoulder straps, and it made it much more tolerable for longer use / hikes, etc. Well constructed, durable and versatile - as is all Maxpedition gear.
