The backpack is good. I like the y compression strap and the leather bottom. It came without the sternum strap, but Maxpedition quickly sent me one when I asked: pretty good service.

I liked the first Pygmy Falcon-II backpack I purchased several years ago so much that I wanted another. Perfect size, plenty of room, and well made. The only fault is there's no place to affix morale patches, but attaching an auxiliary pouch (Maxpedition, of course) solves that. No doubt this one will serve as ruggedly well as my other one.
