This is perfect size for my kids. They go very often in different trips and they have enough space to take a snack, the water bottle, an emergency kit and a phone. It is very comfortable and the strap is adjustable to any size body. I love this brand, we use the big backpack for school also. We travel a lot and we tried other brands but they don’t hold a lot like maxpedition.
Third Bag purchased, All three Fit Their Needs
This is my third bag purchased from Maxpedition. All three have their specific needs with the Remora Gearslinger being the smallest. I was looking for a bag that could carry a first-aid kit, some meds, and still have room for other odds and ends when visiting my Grandchildren. When we all get together space is at a premium in the car so the Gearslinger was purchased to fit comfortably between my feet on the floor rather than “somewhere in back” of the SUV. I have been carrying Maxpedition bags for close to 10 years after being turned on to them by a US Marshall relative. With each new purchase he quips “The Manliness Continues”. No doubt it does.

I bought this as a purse for my mother. And so far she loves it. She goes through a purse every few years, and it was time for another. After using my Kodiak every day for the past 4 or 5 years, I figured this would probably last her the rest of her life.
Remorse Gearslinger
I purchased this same bag in a different color a few years back. That bag came with a cushioned padding on the sling for shoulder. The new bag did not. Like the first bag with padding better.

Great product. Well constructed with adequate space for essentials. Concealed carry allows easy access if needed. Pricing is appropriate.
